Reservations

A block of rooms and preferred rates will be available through March 5, 2013 at https://resweb.passkey.com/go/vendorsummit2013. The pre-conference rate for the night of 3/19 plus is $189 plus 11% tax. For the nights of 3/20 and 3/21, attendees will be charged the complete meeting package (CMP*) rate of $409/per night plus applicable taxes, which includes deluxe king guestroom ac­commodations, all private meal functions (two cocktail receptions, two dinners, two breakfasts, and one lunch), breaks and drinks. *There is no registration fee to attend the Summit, but we do ask that attendees share in the cost of meals and drinks through a complete meeting package (CMP) room rate; local attendees not staying at the Bonaventure Resort & Spa will be charged a day guest rate (see “Day Guests”).

Rooms can only be reserved through Hospitality Upgrade with a credit card guarantee. Pre/post rooms at the $189 room rate are based on availability; please contact Event Manager Charlotte Somers at charlotte@hospitalityupgrade.com to extend your stay beyond the dates available through the reservation system. 
**Rooms will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. After March 5, reservations will be accepted on an as-available basis only, and rates may vary from the group rate.

Cancellations

Cancellations for room reservations received before March 5, 2013 will be without penalty. Cancellations received after March 5, 2013 will incur a penalty of $409 (one night CMP rate). Please note – you must notify Siegel Communications in writing of a cancellation before the first day of the conference (March 20) or we will be obliged to charge $818 (two nights CMP rate). Day Guests

Local attendees not staying at the Bonaventure Resort & Spa will be charged a day guest rate of $500 for the entire conference. This includes sharing in the cost of all private meal functions (two cocktail receptions, two dinners, two breakfasts, and one lunch), breaks and drinks.

Planning Your Trip

ARRIVAL TIME FOR PRE-CONFERENCE ACTIVITIES. There are two pre-conference activities planned in conjunction with the Executive Vendor Summit. If you are arriving on Tuesday, March 19, the night before the conference begins, Hospitality Upgrade invites you to attend a pre-conference dinner at 7:00 p.m. If you are not arriving on Tuesday but are participating in the pre-conference Golf Tournament on Wednesday, March 20, please plan to arrive at the hotel no later than 11:00 a.m. to board the complimentary shuttle to the Bonaventure Country Club.

ARRIVAL TIME FOR OFFICIAL CONFERENCE START. If you are not participating in a pre-conference activity, please arrive at the hotel no later than 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20 when we officially kick off the conference with our Welcome Cocktail Reception & Barbecue. We have a very special activity planned for all attendees during the reception. You won’t want to miss it.

DEPARTURE TIME. One complimentary departure shuttle will be provided to Ft Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) at the conclusion of the Executive Vendor Summit at 11:15 a.m. on Friday, March 22. The Ft Lauderdale Airport (FLL) is located approximately 17 miles/25 minutes from the Bonaventure Resort & Spa. Please plan your flights accordingly. 

American Airlines Discount

American Airlines is offering Summit attendees 5 percent off all published fares for travel to/from Ft Lauderdale, Florida between the dates of March 16-March 25, 2013. To take advantage of this discount, please visit www.aa.com and use code 8833DX. Advantage members will receive full credit for all miles earned. 

Ground Transportation


The Ft Lauderdale Airport (FLL) is located approximately 17 miles/25 minutes from the Bonaventure Resort & Spa.      
TaxisTaxicab service from FLL is approximately $45 one way.  
Private Limo Limousine or town car reservations are available through USA Transportation online or by phone at 800.458.0500. Cost to and from the airport varies depending on the vehicle preferred.     
Parking. Complimentary self-parking is available. Valet parking is $15.

Free Departure Shuttle. One complimentary departure shuttle will be provided to Ft Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) at the conclusion of the Executive Vendor Summit at 11:15 a.m. on Friday, March 22.

Weather/Dress


Average March weather in Ft Lauderdale is a high of 79 degrees and a low of 62 degrees. Dress for the Welcome Cocktail Reception and Barbecue Dinner on Wednesday, March 20 is casual and comfortable. Jeans or shorts are acceptable. Dress for the rest of the conference is business casual, including the Gala Dinner.
